Glacier National Park

I was raised within an hours drive of Glacier National Park in Northwestern Montana. My grandparents had a house and cabins at East Glacier where our family often gathered in the summer months. I have fond memories of fly fishing beaver dams and the various forks of the Flathead, Two Medicine and Cut Bank, as well as backpacking into upper mountain lakes. The Park offers an abundance of geological formations, plant life, birds and mammals, miles of hiking trails, camp grounds, hotels, chalets, glacier fed streams and lakes. Driving the Going-To-The-Sun Highway and viewing the Garden Wall is stunning. To this day Glacier remains a wilderness, and it is a spectacular place to see and photograph.
